I'm a total Sony gamer - got my PS4 all nice and preordered - and this is accurate. Sony had a lot of great games at their show, but they were all games we already knew about, or were merely announced as coming to the platform. I mean, I can't wait to play Don't Starve, but I think the only truly new titles they

Precisely. The best example that comes to mind is Capcom's attempt with Bionic Commando Rearmed 2. That just crashed and burned - and the fact that now EA and Activision are backpedaling and talking about how they've "always supported used games" is... pret-ty funny.

Good... lord!

They certainly did with the 360 - they may yet again ^.^

Microsoft said that they're still committed to welcoming indies, with Minecraft and that sweet-looking Below at their presser - it's just that Sony has lately done job of getting the indies (thank you, Shahid Ahmar) and putting them out there for people to see.

Whu-oh! Not one of my favorite devs!

The live-action trailer is stupid (but pretty funny). The game's intro is awesome - and the gameplay looks pretty fun too. Like Shadows of the Damned, I'm keepin' my eye on this one.

I'm sorry, friends with who? Mike?

I dunno, I thought it was pretty funny. I was like "this is the best thing David Cage has ever written. He must've hired an editor."

Totally. If the PS4 had the One's online policies and DRM, I'd still buy it just for this game.

Much as I (and we) love Team ICO, I'm starting to feel this way about it too. It would've been incredible even midway through the PS3's life cycle (and perhaps even today), but the longer you wait to release a game the more it begins to fall out of step with the standards and developments of the industry. I worry

I want to like Black Flag because the naval battles were easily the best part of III, but that game's (lack of) fun factor kinda' soured me on the franchise.

That burn was hilarious in 2007.

The Epic Loot trailer does its slapstick thing, and I'm cringing. South Park comes out and farts, and I am in stitches.

On the one hand - your E3 press conference is not the time for rape jokes.

Footage made it look like a turn-based RPG.

Now that's a good point.

That's precisely what it is! Not an apt comparison - not at all!

Sorry - the impending pressers seem to be getting my Fanboy up.
