Weird that you’re missing the best movie of the year so far, The Last Black Man in San Francisco.

Saw this when it was in theaters for like a week, it was REALLY good.  All three of these actresses gave great performances.   

In some ways, it’s a better movie—rather, a better Godzilla movie. In other ways, it’s not.

Saw a screening of this at the Alamo Drafthouse in Brooklyn and really dug it. It’s such a unique thing. The focus on agency was such an important aspect of the story and Mazzei’s writing and Goldhaber’s direction really force you to look at sex workers in a way they are so often not shown as.

Don’t be jealous man, I’m sure they’ll eventually create a Smuggest Prick day, then you too can celebrate.
