Yeah, ebay browsing of cars not on the east coast is a fast way to eat up an afternoon with drinking and jealousy.

When I first saw a friend’s ‘92, I refused to believe it was, in fact, a ‘92. I had to look it up.

You can’t put a value on not dealing with rust and having a still-good paint job. That could have 300k on it and I’d still take it over one with less miles but metal issues. Rebuilding the engine and doing axle bearings is a lot easier and cheaper than having to graft on rockers and wheelwells, and it also doesn’t

Look at the 1993 Dodge D250 and prepare to be amazed.

Update- 183 people need a new mouse, because they accidentally clicked Crack Pipe while trying to get to the Nice Price button.

This is an excellent price for an incredibly clean Bronco. Firmly in the Nice Price category. Very jealous, because here in New England you’d be looking at a similar price tag for something with half the fender missing and the other half turning brown.

The 8 speed is a licensed ZF- not an internal development, and the 10 speed collaboration between Ford and GM was announced before the 8 speed had actually been sold in a Ram product.

LOL. Loved the articles, cringed at the proofreading slipups. It hasn’t changed much at the new site.

I imagine it’s only a stereotype if you’re in a locale with fair courts, because anecdotally, I have never heard of a father winning full custody out of anyone I knew that went through a divorce, and the stereotype certainly held true with my own parents.

Username checks out.

It’s as eccentric as I picture him to be.

I laughed way harder than warranted at this.

Absolutely agreed on the LX platform.

I’ll take anything over Sync gen 1 or 2. Seriously, glue a clipboard to the center stack. Bam. Instant improvement.

The Daimler thing was a culture clash and fiasco. The Sebring, Dodge Intrepid, to some extent the Neon...awful compared to the competition. The Plymouth Prowler was a unique idea with poor execution. The Chrysler Crossfire was cool but I’m not sure who it was aimed at. I’m a big Mopar fan but they started to fall way

Because they are perpetually behind Ford and GM by about 10 years in powertrain research and their product line is mostly stagnant. Their interiors lately have been impressive, though.

The real story: Sergio Marchionne was desperately rushing to the meeting to sign the deal papers when his third backup Alfa Romeo Giulia burst into flames and a chauffeur became locked inside a fourth backup with no way to start the vehicle.

Correct. I’ll probably run the Hartford AutoX a few times this year. Not sure where you’re from, but you can look at the NER rallycross event locations at www.motorsportreg.com and even see the entries as well.

All over New England!

During the summer there are autocross events in Hartford with CART. I’ll probably be at a few of those. The closest rallycross events are a two day event in Stafford in January and an event in Mass in August
