I honestly don’t notice a big difference. I guess I’m used to seeing them tucked.

Fun Fact: Not only is this cheaper than buying Harley parts at a dealer, but you also get free Gin.

2012 GT Premium with no options- $32k

Yeah, the tires are actually inboard like that. My 2012 looked weird to me until I got aftermarket wheels with a more aggressive offset.

Yep. 169 years sounds pretty good spread out among the 100 or so key players in this little scheme.

I remember the articles from 2-3 years ago talking about them making money hand over fist, their intentions to concentrate on their current product lines instead of developing the Livewire bike, etc etc..... such shortsightedness.

Costing more per cylinder to maintain than any other V8 on the surface of this planet. Yes, it is rather unique.

And squandered yet another opportunity at relevance with their ham fistedness

Used to do motor work for a local dealership. Walking through their showroom was always a cringe inducing experience. If you didn’t want a 25k dresser with 10k in chrome bullshit, you were an inferior customer. Even did the factory tour in York, PA. New factory and technology putting together outdated designs. They

I’m surprised it didn’t have greater coverage.

They don’t. I think the rules are basically, the organizers have the right to buy your car on the spot for $500 if they think you’re packing too much performance or not building in the spirit of the competition, which discourages you from dumping a bunch of money in to win.

There were major bottom end differences in the old 5.0 Mustang vs F-150 engines- not just heads and valvetrain. That is one of those swaps that probably falls in the “not f-ing worth it” category.

I got a bunch of extra parts with my ‘69 Cougar years ago. I ended up selling a decent looking extra ashtray on Ebay without really looking at it. The buyer contacted me to ask if I had forgotten anything in the ashtray. I was puzzled and told him no. He then asked me if I was sure, and told me I had left ‘my’ nicely
