Companies tout this as the holy grail to go after, but this process only works in a literally perfect world. I think it's a fast path to make a company completely inflexible and uncompetitive in anything but an incredibly narrow slice of vision

As someone who works in the supplier chain....that report is absolutely right. As soon as you give up direct control over the process and the product, you make a mess of your schedule. It works for some things obviously, but relinquish too much of the project and you'll tack on years of time
Lol that is amazing. A friend had the pc version running on an ancient desktop and we'd play that with the sound down low so his parents wouldn't find out. Apparently hitting people with chains took it out of the 'allowable video games' category
Turn signals are a personal pet peeve. If I see people changing lanes without them on the highway, I sometimes drive alongside them, get their attention, and point to my turn signal stalk in order to remind them that it fucking exists for a reason.
Some of the effects of a Mass license plate:
It isn't that great of a steal after you consider the mice, dirt, and condensation issues. As a guy who had to store his musclecar in a clean dirt floor barn for a few years, I cannot describe how bad the corrosion damage to the underside and mechanicals was when I came back to it. Those cars will all need a lot of…
Thanks Squid. As you might have noticed after you posted, I have been corrected several times by some jaw - dropping videos of these things at speed.
It'd be cool to explain WHY it is unusable....like maybe a bit of an explanation of NURBS vs polygons. People who have never touched CAD before probably walked away from this thinking all manufacturers are feeding these guys redacted junk....
That's incredible. I had no idea a commercial boat/anything other than a dedicated drag boat could hit those kinds of speeds...regardless of how calm the water was!
Typical Lamborghini owner. Mixed up kilometers per hour and miles per hour when reading the speedo.
"It can do about 186 mph"
You missed the part where the truck was the low hanging fruit. Big, straight, easy to form sections where replacing a single component with aluminum reaps huge percentages for weight decrease. It's like saying weight loss effort should be the same for a porta potty as a brick shithouse....While neglecting the fact…
I thought the exact same thing seeing the attachments menu. I wonder if this is using a modified version of that game's engine?.....
I had an old Challenger. I love Challengers. I just want this new one to be a thousand pounds less. And to be something other than a 300 with a different mug.
I had the pleasure of owning an '84 944 N/A that needed literally nothing but oil changes for two years, so armed with that false reality I made the mistake of going out and getting a lemon 944 Turbo. I spent 4 weeks total driving it in two years, and experienced literally every single issue you could have with the…
I prayed to every God I knew of and some that I had to Google the first time I gapped the new sensors on my old 944 N/A and put it back together. Measure carefully and good luck!
Porsche 944T/951. It will test your supply of supposedly 'complete' metric tools. I have more cut up and shortened wrenches, allen sets, and sockets for this car than every other car that I have ever owned combined. Since it has a transaxle and torque tube, enjoy an 8 hour drivetrain pull for what used to be mundane…
Serve as a comparison to FOIA request responses from the NHTSA. It isn't useful to hear if NHTSA takes X months to respond when you have no metric to measure it against.
