@Michael Dukakis: Getting started early on the next election, are we?

That music is a nasty surprise nostalgia attack.... I played D2 into the ground back in the day when it came out. There were roughly five of us back in late middle school/freshman year high school playing it all the time after we got home. Great times. Such a brilliant game for many reasons, including the number of

@fuchikoma: Facebook is for social networking.

It's like they really want people to spend money on other games... This is just stupid. Swagger is not a stat, it's a retarded buzz word commentators and studio talking heads use.

@jfclavette: It's part of that insular, clubhouse mentality that also bubbles up in games.

@Michael Dukakis: I hear the adjustments they're making will really open up the vertebral passing game.

Pretty frustrating finish to USA's World Cup campaign. They fell asleep not only to begin the game, but again in the first extra period. Seemed to regain composure to end the 1st half, and then figured out how to attack Ghana in the 2nd half, but hardly had any quality shots on goal. They had enough opportunities to

@Hanchen Lu: However, note that if you thumbs-up a comment, you'll promote and star the person, too!

I'd be more interested in people actually involved in making (programming, art design, writing, etc) games than those who head huge publishers. But maybe that's just me.

Lots of TF2, and fending off a newly started jihad in my Stainless Steel campaign as the Byzantine Empire.

Still not entirely sold on how this'll play, but the cutting certainly looks cool. I still love me some tactical stealth action, though...

@jctrick: A new form of trolling has been born...

Interesting strategy of making the characters look as pretty as possible, distracting from the suffering textures all around the environment. Better looking than the PS2 version my ass.

I imagine there are probably developers who want to see a new SimCity and SimTower, but those games might not even be on EA's list of priorities. SimCity 2000 was the best of the series to me, so I hope any new entry to the series is more like 2000, less like 4.

Add in cooperative multiplayer and a deep role-playing experience and, baby, you got a stew goin'!

@cyber rat: Worst commenter I've ever seen, he should really stop being so selfish, too.

I've always used the variable strike zones as well. Fair or not, it's realistic. Have to take into account that even the best pitchers are going to get screwed over and walk a guy because of sketchy calls.
