@InsidiousTuna: Hey, not everyone can be a frontrunning Yankees and Cowboys fan.

Hmm, might have to step up and buy MLB 10 just so we can get some Sox v Mets, or Sox v Cubs action. Till then, all I could offer Box Scores are games against the AI...
@puresewas1de: Damn.
I think I'm excited.. I just hope they really take a note from some of the mod makers, zoom in the map they're using, and populate it with many more settlements than CA usually does.
The link to Venture Beat just takes me to a page not found message. : (
@Michael Dukakis: There's no respawn in Total War.. ;_;
Actual Kotaku is much more useful, and I have enough advertising in my life without Facebook. Besides, employers in my future career are more than smart enough to be able to find profiles on there...
@Chewblaha: That's a bit of an exaggeration, even for you, don't you think? Trading a bunch of young players and draft picks, which are never sure bets, to lesser teams is hardly cutting careers short. At least not directly.
@Mike8813: You're a Dolphins and Celtics fan? ...wtf? How does that happen? Or did you just arbitrarily pick teams at a young age?
@Michael Dukakis: What's the old saying? Beat up on the great teams, take your lumps against the bad ones? No, no, that's can't be right...
Newegg has the Operation Anchorage + The Pitt disc and Broken Steel + Point Lookout for $7.99 each. If you somehow already have Mothership Zeta or don't want it, this might be better than buying the GOTY. Or, you might be able to get it from GFWL...
Impulse has Sins of a Solar Empire for $3.99, Demigod $9.99.
@Jason144: Wow, nostalgia attack.
@Michael Dukakis: Oh boo hoo. Try getting embarrassed by the Royals, of all teams.
Awesome, then I'll have time to get in a marathon of matches after my classes end next week. Maybe even get around to trying out Zerg...
Sounds great if true. I wouldn't mind CA going forward with another gunpowder based game set in the era Luke suggested, but I do prefer melee combat. It's just much more exciting and personal to me, I guess. I still can't put down Medieval II, though now I play Stainless Steel rather than vanilla.
Hm, not bad. These quick links would be better with a quick headline, or (preferably) just combine them all into one end of the day post.
@Batman: Not true. [kotaku.com]
Not a whole lot "new" here, but if it ever gets a nice Steam sale or something this might be interesting to play. And yes, non-playable factions is always a disappointment. I don't care whether or not Portugal is as fleshed out as the other three factions, just leave it available and make sure it at least has its own…
