I disagree obviously. I've been gaming since we had to load games off magnetic tapes, and I see no increase in immersion once you get into the game's story. I'm not sure if you've played any old-school RPGs (maybe you have), but if you have, I'm sure you know that the graphics don't even matter once you're into it.…

I don't understand this obsession to "remake" everything in 3D. There is nothing wrong with the original, and in my opinion it is as immersive as any 'photo-realistic' game.
