Family Values politicians shame women for bottle feeding then make it impossible to work and breastfeed. That’s not an accident. The Leche League was founded to encourage breastfeeding to keep women out of the workplace and enforce “traditional” gender roles.

When I was a kid our local drugstore had a passthru to a shoe store. Which later became a Payless/Volume shoe store. I think probably both were owned by the same family before they were taken over by the chain store.

I remember when Payless was a drug store with a very large shoe section. I thought it was weird that a drug store sold shoes. I liked it but it was definitely weird. I think maybe they should have kept selling drugs along with their shoes.

I had a cat that would spite pee in my shoes and purse. Due to allergies I have had only discovered this after I came home for work.
