That works about 95% of the time, but, for example, with Windows 7, there was a security update that was pushed a few days ago that was force-installed. Best part is that it deleted some other files to make room (I was on a 40gb SSD until last weekend) and that only screwed up most of my casual programs.

I vacuum when I'm stressed, but I do something a bit different to help with it. If I'm vacuuming a light-colored carpet, I'll sprinkle something dark on it (such as coffee grounds); same with dark-colored carpet and something light. It comes up easily, but it really helps defeat the feeling that you can get pretty

I actually took up jewelery-making. Ten times as much stress relief, because there's ten times as much tarnish when you're wearing it daily.

  • Survey Question One: If the Xbox One must use the Internet but can run online, then I will accept an offline gaming mode that lasts as little as 1 week, with the understanding that I will not be able to install new games during this time.

Basically, it's to weed out the bad apples of the community. Blizzard does it all the time. I've gotten fussed at by GMs a few times for accidentally exploiting something on Wow, but I always make sure to file a ticket, and I don't intentionally continue to use the exploit. But someone who purposely exploits

I think that may be unique to Austin, though I haven't been through Texas in.... six years now? Something like that. Austin was weird, because everywhere else in Texas I felt tiny in parking spots, and Austin felt like I had missed seeing the "Compact Cars Only" sign in every parking lot I had to use.

Nope. I drive a Mustang, which is pretty much parking-spot-shaped (wide and long relative to most "casual" cars) for where I live, and when I was in Texas, I had enough room to fully swing my doors open on both sides of the car, which is another 4 feet of width, without going over either line. And this was at a

Actually, I don't know how ti is everywhere, but many states, if you get a "upgrade" plate (one of the donation ones, or an alumni one, for example), they'll do a vanity option for free on it. That's why you see so many more vanity options on upgrade plates as opposed to standard ones.

Then that feature simply isn't for you. I absolutely love it; I need a blu-ray player and a set-top box in addition to a new Xbox anyway; this just means I'm more likely to purchase one out of the gate.

I believe Hangouts is supposed to get text/Voice/mms support soon, and it's cross-platform (well, mostly; Blackberry users are still out in the cold, but then, they're still Blackberry users). It'll be nice to be able to reply to texts from my PC if it'll work like that; it can be frustrating to be at my computer

While I completely understand this sentiment sometimes, I refuse to let anywhere but the Ford dealership an hour and a half away from me work on my car for anything beyond brakes/tires and oil changes. They've done great work, they give me a fair rate (actually better than the mechanic my parents use for their cars),

Honestly, I'd like to see an upgrade kit for the V6 just for cosmetics. Right now I need a new front bumper cover and hood anyway, and I'm looking at switching over to the 2013 style (I've got a 2010) because I like the more agressive look, but NOBODY has any answers for me on how much it'd cost, what parts they'd

Honestly? I want it. Badly. I want it and I want to paint it completely matte black and then have the entire Battlestar cast sign one of the fenders. Or something else ridiculous like that. Because it screams to be that sort of car. The car where you just throw up your hands, yell "I DO WHAT I WANT", and enjoy

True enough, I guess. And as another commenter pointed out, it's not uncommon for parents to buy car seats for their babysitter, or if they babysit for more than one family, for all the families to chip in towards it.

I'm not all that sure why it would be weird. I babysit for a living, and I've got two car seats that can also work as booster seats, and 90% of the time I just leave them in place in my car. Saves me time and trouble (I have a Mustang, it's not that easy to get the seats in) and it's worth the small cost to make

Do the same thing I do. I hotkeyed bookmarking something, and the last thing I do each day is spend 15 minutes sorting my new bookmarks into their proper folders. It's a lot more efficient, IMO, and it also helps you notice older bookmarks that you don't need anymore.

If I were currently working; I'd be buying this in a heartbeat. I learned how to play from my neighbor's grandmother, and still play fairly frequently either in solitare or with people at my grandparents' assisted living facility.

If you have other Razer products that use Synapse 2.0, I'd suggest getting another Naga; Synapse 2.0 has made it a little broken. I can use a button on my keyboard to switch my keybindings on my mouse now thanks to it. If you don't, though, the G600 looks like it's decent enough, though I personally can't imagine

As someone who types a LOT (writer, editor, gamer, reviewer, and someone who is in constant virtual contact with people (IM, facebook, email, IRC), I absolutely love my mechanical keyboard. My personal recommendation is that if you're looking for something with gaming features as well, check out the Razer Blackwidow

Taxis in my town need to be reserved; there's only six in the entire fleet. And at the time, I didn't have any local friends and didn't want to wait another hour for the nearest friend who had said they could come give me a ride just to get to my house.
