Don't forget that Les Mis also has the rainstorm; it's raining while Eponine sings "I Saw Him Once". It's also got Compassion (Jean ValJean) and Military Officer (Javert). And while it's not quite the death of a son, Gavroche's death is probably worth something extra, as well as a deathbed confession of love.

The big thing I'd like to point out, as someone who lives in the United States, is that it's a MUCH larger country than all of Europe, with far fewer affordable options for transit.  I lived a year in a town with two colleges and zero public transit available, for example.  Frequently, I had to go to the neighboring

Oh, I straight-up like it.  Not in the "I want one" sense, but I don't think it's bad at all.  It's got a very stylized look that I can absolutely appreciate.

Honestly, a big part of it is that there's been a lot of fans asking for a "no fucks given" style line again, where the Transformers aren't doing the disguise thing so much anymore. Hasbro used to make figures like that a while back (See most of Beast Machines, for example). They tend to test well with kids, who

Funny, that's one of the best things about the prequels. Every single duel is absolutely fantastic, and in one notable case, there's an interesting bit of canon slipped in (In the Jango/Windu duel, Jango is shown to block several of Windu's strikes with his gauntlets, which real Mandalorian Armor can do according to

I really appreciate the fact that you used HALO as an example. Halo: Reach actually had a female squadmate, where the only thing FEMALE about her was her voice and the fact that her armor was shaped differently because female bodies aren't male bodies. It didn't cover anything any differently than the standard male

But to me, that's ridiculous.  If I can put a more efficient, older engine into a newer car, I should be allowed to.  A good example is a Smart ForTwo; there's some engine swaps that actually increase efficiency and decrease emissions (though I wil admit to not being able to recall them off the top of my head, becuase

The A-pillars thing is something I agree with you on, though for a slightly different reason.  I'm a bit obsessive about keeping track of what's going on under my hood even though I've got a nearly completely stock car, and the only two places I can put my gauges are my A-pillar or my dashboard.  Putting them on my

Eh, with the *right* reaction, reaching for the gearshift can actually be helpful; I saved my previous car from being totalled when I got knocked into oncoming traffic by forcing it into reverse. Probably added 5k miles worth of wear to the transmission by doing it, but the accident I ended up in (On a 65mph stretch

All of World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King. It had some of the best storytelling the game has seen, and truly took you through what Arthas experienced as he went from Crown Prince of Lordaeron to Lich King of the Scourge. Though if I had to pick one specific zone, it'd be the Storm Peaks.

Accidentally submitted before I was done. The point I was trying to make is that nearly all of the roles are traditionally cast a certain way, though they are roles that anyone at all could fill (Heck, Benny could just as easily be played by a woman instead of a man, and would only require the changing of a few

I think that, for all its faults, RENT is a good example of both roles where the race of the actor does and does not matter. For most of the roles (Benny, Roger, Angel, Tom, Maureen, Joanne, Joanne's parents), race is completely irrelevant. But others, such as Mimi and Mark, should be preferably cast with a Hispanic

This is tempting, but I really wish that this was the collector's edition, and not the founder's edition. I'd much rather get into the beta, even if it's just for a weekend, and see if I like what's there before I drop $200 on it when I don't know if I'll still be playing it six months after release.

Is anyone else amused at how utterly useless the camo is on this thing? Its curves are so drastic that they catch the light well enough on their own. Literally all the camo can do is mess with the autofocus a bit.

Seemed? Last time I charged mine was when I lived in Kansas, and I moved back November 2010. Granted, I've played it pretty infrequently since then, but I've still gotten about 3/4 of the way through Pokemon White, and completely played through two Ace Attorney games since then.

Seeing it here, well, it doesn't even look like a production car. This still looks like a prototype, and THAT has me more excited than anything else about it.

I'll probably pick up Mike and Sully for on my desk if I can get them on their own, and any TRON stuff they make is an instant buy for me, but that's probably it. I'll admit that if they're priced reasonably, getting them as figurines for my desk is a lot more appealing (I'd pay $6-$8 each for them if they look good

Can we not discuss that yet? Wound is still too fresh. Best science fiction TV since BSG (Might even be better, depending on the final episodes), and it was killed after only one season. Disney's been making some weird choices with their original properties the past couple of years.

I personally disagree to a HUGE level. If they made regular action figures with this same styling, I'd be all over them. As it is, I'm wishing that we had TRON: Uprising figures or even just statuettes, as it's a somewhat similar art style that I absolutely love.

The parchment paper trick works, iirc, because it absorbs the ambient moisture more easily than the food itself, and keeps it locked in better. A lot of places like Starbucks that heat sandwiches will put them on/in a piece of parchment paper for that reason.
