I was really upset about Google shutting down Picnik. Recently came across PicMonkey, which has some of the best Picnik features, like cloning.

Now I understand why de-cluttering or packing to move is so stressful. Decision after decision after decision. Keep or toss? Garbage or donate? This is why I dread moving.

CRTL + P = Print. CTRL + V = Paste. However, your point is a good one. Keyboard shortcuts rock.

I'm also careful to state things carefully so that if the email gets forwarded, there is no way someone can take offense. It pays to consider "What if this gets forwarded?" Unless I truly don't give a crap if it does.

After reading about it last week on Lifehacker, I bought a Swiss+Tech Utili-Key. Put it on my key ring. Opened it up, and the key ring fell to the floor. Apparently the thing that keeps it on the key ring opens up when you open the tool. Not what I was expecting.

I just got a WD drive and didn't like its software. I save all my data to a network, and the WD software wouldn't back that up. I dug around and found TrueSafe Personal Edition, which will back up local drives and network, and I don't notice any slowdown.

I'm debating whether to turn off the push notifications for Office Zombie. Sometimes hearing it croak "Braaaaainnnnssss!!" from my pocket is amusing... sometimes it's too freaky.

Plus binder clips will scratch the inside of your washer and/or dryer. If it's enamel over metal, you will eventually have problems with the machine.

Goodwill would prefer them to be clean, I'm sure.

Mom used to bake bread in a coffee can on the grill when we went camping. Her mother-in-law didn't believe it would work, but it worked just fine. She used her usual bread recipe.

plastic bottle cap.

For so many things, it's a matter of scheduling the next appointment before you leave the doctor or dentist's office. Dentist: check. Chiropractor: check. Eye doctor: check. Most doctors and dentists these days either use an automated call system to remind you of the next appointment, or they're happy to give you a

Refrigerator coils are typically under the fridge these days, with a panel in front to protect them. They are a pain to clean, but worth the trouble. [www.hometips.com]

I was drinking at least a 6-pack of diet soda a day. Last summer I finally quit. I make a pitcher of ice tea using 4 green tea bags and 4 raspberry tea bags. No sugar. When I pour it, I first add lemonade to the glass so the percentage of lemonade is about 1/4 or 1/3. It has less sugar than straight lemonade, but it

A cat? My cats are not that flammable.

Mason jars (not your recycled mayo jars) are designed for heat resistance. Real canning jars are designed to be filled, sealed and boiled or processed in a pressure cooker. They can withstand high heat safely. Now, dealing with kids and hot jars, that's another thing altogether.

Maybe it seems robust if you've never used Picnik Premium. It's missing some big features, like the clone tool, among others.
