Holy coincidence! There I was not 10 minutes ago taking a... uh... reading in "the library", when I happened to glance out my window and see a black convertible 56 Star Chief glide slowly down the gravel road beside my house! Thought to myself, "huh, haven't seen one like that in years." I was dumbfounded to wrap

I love it! Now I'm wishing I had kept my totaled Colorado, (or the bed at least,) and hunted down an ass-ended M3 to mate the two. Brilliant!

@Octomac: True that, I want one for grocery shopping or mowing the lawn! Scare the crap outta those pesky next-door-neighbor kids it would!

Needs more this.

@∞Gïmmï∞Mørgäikkøŋëŋ∞: I don't often times think of her as a woman, I just like the fact that we do have such a wide variety of Jalops from all walks of life. But it is kinda hot that she posts car chicks for us to drool over! :)

@∞Gïmmï∞Mørgäikkøŋëŋ∞: Yes, she knows and likes them too. But her true love is the 2005-06 Ford GT, (which arguable could be thought of as the GT-44,) hence the pic and her avatar.

The Lada Niva, now with pedestrian rug burn option!

@$kaycog: You make my weekdays with your presentations to the COTD winners, and now your brightening my weekends as well? You truly are a wonderful woman $kaycog!

@Vinny Minchillo: I see no reason you couldn't send a few of your better ideas and articles in to Jalop as well Vin, but I'm sure getting paid to do it would have been more pleasing. Good luck to you too sir.

Way to go Tom! The donor car search story told me that you are definitely in the right place. Welcome, and good luck!

I was not aware Jalopnik was such serious business! A sincere thanks to you Mr. Seven for enlightening us all...

@Vinny Minchillo: Now don't you go trying to win me over by professing those admirable traits of yours!

@pj134: Ok that's it mister, I've had just about enough of your wit and charm.... it's a heart clicking for you, and I won't have any back-talk!

Is Vinny thinking that by posting two of these "page click whoring" articles with no "one big slow to load page" is going to help him?? Going for new unique visitors by foisting politics and celebrities on us seems kinda low to me, and I hope the "no boobs" rule comes into play here.

@electricworry: Yep, that little black speck in the distance is kinda hard to see on the runs. True, it would have been cooler to see a helmet cam shot of what it would look like to do almost 100 on that thing. Then I wanna see it mow more then 2 feet of grass, maybe like set it loose on a soccer field for awhile.

@electricworry: What video are you watching? The one above shows multiple runs for the record, and a little grass cutting at the end.

@jolietjake: Fast-forward the video to 5:00, it's the part labeled "Cutting the grass to make it 'Guinness Book' official."

@DeadinSide Inc.: "In addition, whenever a barescent skor motion is required, it may be employed in conjunction with a drawn reciprocating dingle arm to reduce sinusoidal depleneration."

@$kaycog: But it does sound like he scavenged what could have been a pipe dream!
