@NovaloadMissesPolar: Amen. And Polar saw it and it was good.
Did I miss it?
I feel blessed to be here at this time, in this place, with these folks.
I wish I had a camera with me when I saw the Lincoln Town Carchero for sale in a local parking lot a little while ago! Here's hoping the damn thing is there when I go back tomorrow.
@NovaloadMissesPolar: I fell for her the day I saw her and ran the VIN, found out we were 3 months apart in age. She rolled off the line new when I was turning 3 months old; a connection was felt, she had to be saved.
@CeRuLeaNBLu: Too drunk to use too properly?
@pauljones: Found one e-mailed to me in one of my many in boxes.
@NovaloadMissesPolar: It will be reborn in a future project I have. I must add this trusty hunk of steel and aluminum to the two 4.0 Jeep sixes I have in the garage for another future fun project. Yes, that's two engines in one project.
@CeRuLeaNBLu: Just remembered, I'm on my laptop and they are on my home PC. i'll post 'em when I get back to the hizzy to the pc.
@pauljones: I have a few the day I brought it home, but I don't want to past the recent ones with the signage on it cause I toot no horn of my own. Gimme a second and I'll look for them.
@NovaloadMissesPolar: Asheville, NC. Local means anywhere I can run to and back in three days with the F-250.
@NovaloadMissesPolar: Original was a straight six. This is from a 75 Blazer. I'm looking at a cracked head and a 33 year old motor with no time for a rebuild. (Rest assured it will be done, but at my pace in my garage.)
@DoctorNine: I'm thinking more along the lines of ready to go engine/tranny combos I can throw in and do better then the 9 mpg I have been getting. Smog legal is a plus.
@pauljones: Good idea you have there.
Time to tip back another Wild Blue and go search the internets for the bestest/cheap crate 350. Any ideas gang?
I have the blown head gasket blues right now or I would be enjoying this more.
Ok, I had an idea based on the annals of Jalopnik craziness.
@discontinuuity: Nice find! But this video is the money shot of Packard porn, so to speak.
New look for Jalopnik? I don't care.
