I enjoy the crosswalk buttons in downtown brooklyn that say “Wait! ... Wait!” every time you press them. (I’m aware this is a helpful feature for blind and visually-impaired people and don’t mean this sarcastically. It’s just become a big part of my life to tell my family “Wait! ... Wait!” in that exact voice.)

Again, like I said, so was Mike Huckabee and John McCain, both frequent guests on Stewart. They were both “bearable” for a time. I’m not saying there aren’t any reasonable Republicans, but CONSISTENTLY reasonable?... hmmm. I guess time will tell. I hope you’re right.

I remember when Mike Huckabee was the GOP’s “voice of reason.” He’d come on Jon Stewart, josh and joke around and then go on Fox and call all Muslims terrorists. Or John McCain was the GOP “voice of reason” then he’d go on to say Obama was “directly responsible” for the Orlando nightclub attacks. So this Navarro might

THE IRONING IS DELICIOUS

Also, her reasons for being a Republican include her father being a Contra fighter. Much like Megyn Kelly, she is only better by comparison, not by actual belief or behavior.

I love the universal Latin hand thing she is doing. Because my mom does that when she is being very clear that she is not tolerating my shit.

Conservative women arguing their right to choose how they vote while agree Clinton shouldn’t be allowed to appoint a pro-choice Supreme Court Justice.

Two women arguing about choice in votes, also in fear Clinton will appoint a pro-choice Supreme Court Justice.

That’s the part that rankles... all these Republicans acting more-principled-than-thou by disavowing him NOW, after creating the climate that made him possible, after helping him get the nomination, after helping him win the primary. It’s good to hear them all acknowledge he’s vile and they don’t want him to represent

I think that what’s really going to kill the Republican Party stone-dead, if anything does, is their response to Trump. Any system can have bad actors in it, but it’s the way the system responds to the bad actor that determines whether it’s robust. Rod Blagojevich was a memorably sleazy Democrat, but the Democrats

Like many others, she’s bothered because now the dogwhistling is over and the candidates she is supposed to carry water for are openly condemning anyone like her.

Gotta agree. And this...

Yeah, it’s funnyshe’s owning these clowns but to not admit the GOP brought the the Cheeto on themselves is laughable. (the the was intentional)

The mirror image of that is the people who are too afraid to admit they don’t control every aspect of their lives because it’s too scary to know you can do everything “right” and still have bad things happen. These are the people who see bad things happen to others and say they did something to bring it on themselves.

“Yeah, Republican men telling women, including fellow conservative women, to sit down and shut up has been another theme in this election since forever.”

Fuck Ana Navarro. She’s still a Republican talking head.

Yeah, Republican men telling women, including fellow conservative women, to sit down and shut up has been another theme in this election.

Actually, I think the commenting culture (outside the obvious trolls) here on Jez (and formerly Gawker, RIP) is pretty decent. The signal-to-noise ratio is okay, anyway. I do wish people wouldn’t feed the trolls, but I understand that too. I am also bored at work.

The door close button may not close the door, but if you press and hold it while hitting your desired floor button, it turns a lot of elevators into a makeshift express to your floor.
