Good people work at all sorts of conglomerates, monopolies, and other shitty corporations. That’s the reality of late stage capitalism--we all need jobs. I’m not mad at them, I’m mad at neoliberalism and billionaire CEOs and poor regulations.

Good axes are expensive enough without hipster style influencing cost. We heat with about 3 .5 cords of wood a year and my Gransfor Bruks splitting is indispensable but even it’s quality only cost me $200 (hydraulic splitter is like $1.5k).

This is always my issue with these types of buyouts. Even if everything stays exactly the same about the brand, your $$ is still going to Evil Parent Company.

Eh, I mean, it’s definitely a good thing when there are more eco-conscious products being produced. But I don’t think that’s the only part of the equation. I think it’s also incredibly important to make sure that everything we consume isn’t produced by a handful of enormous multinational corporations that have no

It’s large conglomerates picking up on the fact that there’s a lot of money to be made in all the scientifically illiterate hand-wringing about TOXINS and CHEMICALS and stuff like that.

I think it’s troubling that companies like this are being acquired by huge conglomerates, but it is definitely nice that companies seem to be making more of an effort to make more eco-friendly cleaning products. Still worried about greenwashing, though, and consumerist co-opting of environmentalism in general.

I had never really seen her personality before watching the show and I have to say, she seems lovely, I like her.

All hail #CloneClub!!!!!

This was a long time coming. She earned it the first season, for fuck’s sake.

Also, here’s a few gifs of my favorite moments. I can’t find the one I want of Sterling K. Brown, which is annoying me.

How much do you think T. Hids regrets hopping on the T. Swift manufactured relationship machine this summer now that he didn’t win an Emmy?

After the Emmys changed their nomination process 10 years ago in what was called the “Lauren Graham Rule” I hope next year to see her name on the list of nominations (Rami and Tatiana gave me hope).

My only disappointment with the winners is Andre Braugher losing again. Captain Holt is the best character on Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

I can honestly say that I am not ashamed of how much tv I watch. Because I work 2nd shift, and I’m not usually in bed before 4am, there’s not much else for me to do.

So damn happy for Rami Malek, Tatiana Maslany (surprise!), and JLD. GoT is kind of a yawn for me at this point. I do so wish Outlander had been nominated for SOMETHING.

Rachel’s early years, her clothes weren’t that special -- she looked like she dressed in Contempo Casuals. She eventually became an assistant buyer at Bloomies and then got a job at Ralph Lauren which is really when she started dressing great. Her clothes weren’t unrealistic, I don’t think.
