And - and! - then he gave a speech at the United State of Women Summit where he called himself a feminist, quoted Shirley Chisholm and talked about the insane double standard women and girls of color face on regard to assertion, being called “angry”, etc!! And slut shaming was in there too! Senior Year Obama has HAD

squad.

This gif just made my week and it’s only Tuesday.

GO GET HIM OBAMA

Politics are for the living? You mean like all the live queer men and women (including myself) who do not want to be targeted for murder because of their sexuality, like those who died at Pulse were? Yes, I agree. That is why I said in my previous post: “That’s why hate crimes exist as a legal definition and a stiffer

Umm.... it matters because they were killed because they were in a gay bar. I bet you’re one of those people who responds “all lives matter” whenever they hear discussions of black lives matter.

Pam Bondi: “I was defending the constitution”

In the American press, this is becoming a remarkably rare thing. With a few exceptions, interviews hit known talking points and prepared statements.

Her attempts to elide the queerness of most of the dead (and thus why they were targeted) by insisting that the dead were merely “Floridians” and “human beings” was maddening. Oh, so LBTQ people are sex deviants when they want to marry, and child molesters when they want to use a bathroom, but it takes dying to be

Wow. A journalist asking challengingly confrontational questions like a journalist is supposed to do. And asking follow ups to challenge the answers, no less.

Not only is she an attorney, she’s one of the state attorneys who stopped investigating Trump “University” and coincidentally got campaign donations from Herr Drumpf.

This whole shitshow makes me sick to my stomach, and has shades of the PP shooting all over the place. Conservatives are soooo sad, but not enough to own up to how they’ve been treating gay folks for decades, or how their violent rhetoric around abortion rights contributed to that shooting. Nothing will change,

Damn. Pam getting dragged live on camera.

Some people can’t, though. Some people are only capable of being one thing, and that one thing defines them. Those people tend to project that deficiency onto others because they can’t understand any other way of being.

I didn’t “fix” my hair with oils. I mean the natural oils of my own fucking head. And by a “little tender” I didn’t mean it was snapping off. It just felt a lot different than my hair before, but it didn’t break and was still strong. But you go ahead and assume you know it all, like you did with that other person. I

I so enjoyed reading this! Tried to go blonde from my natural red a few years ago and had an AWFUL time. The stylist said she knew how to deal with super curly hair (which sooo many stylists have said in the past, though so few can deliver the results) and would “accentuate” the curls with some highlights/lowlights.

I totally agree. I had the training of an at-home-tried-and-true hair coloring expert - honestly if I’d have tried it myself with no training/experience my head would be one giant scab. Also, I did buy professional products at the NYC beauty supplies store so I wasn’t using off the shelf stuff, which was a huge plus.

I’m sure you know my hair better, but it’s in excellent condition. And, I did use a blue toner to remove the red after taking out the dark brown and before adding the crimson so that the color was as pure as possible. So, can I speak now? After crimson I went to platinum blonde, and it was magnificent.

As an Asian woman and because this is Jezebel, I just want to say I find the recent prevalence of blond Asians a little bit of a bummer. I get it, it’s fun and on trend and we are all free to do whatever we like. But- after watching the doc Good Hair years ago I realized how much women are inspired not by vanity but
