of course it is pseudoscience, but in theory it would be possible. Everything has its resonance frequency(es), and making it resonate adding small amounts of power each cycle COULD lead it to its breaking point or whatever.

@rodluisg theorietically it would be possible to "bounce off" the signal from the excited part of the ionosphere, directing it towards the ground.
