If for whatever reason you find it hard to believe that an All American, Heisman trophy winning, National Champion Quarterback in a football town is not offered goods and or services including sex then your vision is clearly obscured. That particular Publix until the Winston incident was more than likely the go to

"This ain't rap city, this is gun clap city"

Cross it off his bucket list

Can't ever overlook the "Yay" areas contributions to hip-hop, would have loved to see "Fonzarelli" - E-40 holding court.

Excellent post my man, good to get a peek a life in the Bay it was also good to see the legendary "Short Dog" up in there, I can only imagine the after party.

Knowledge!

Not sure if Stu was aware of or had seen hip-hops Boo-Ya tribe but if he was as big a student of the culture as I believe I'm sure he knew of their influence and style. Most hip-hop heads associate the origin of the word with the tribe.

There's 1 caveat I need to add, the only person who doesn't live to see another day after the encounter with injustice is the black guy, everybody else gets to go home.

I don't know what outrages me more, the fact that firstly this former NBA bad boy who made a passion out of heavy drinking and bar brawls during his playing days, is given a platform to speak on topics outside of the realm of his mental capacity or that he is arrogant enough to really believe that he adds something of

Restraints as in restricted

I completely agree with your assessment grooming was never high on his list of priorities.

The Bill Conlin we thought we knew, grew up reading his columns and watching him cover Philly sports on local networks. To quote another writer and also a friend and colleague of Conlin's whose name escapes me at this time "At the end of the day the only person who you truly know is yourself."

Absolutely agree, there are far better places in the city that use a better quality of steak.
