Not at all, that's for local beer leagues in the Washington D.C. area. The rink I play at is the same one where the Caps practice, and the other is out in Fairfax (aka the 'burbs). We get 20 games per season + playoffs.

As an adult it's even worse, equipment, sticks, league fees.
