Was Ellen Pompeo part of the tone-deaf “Imagine” video the celebrities made for the proles during quarantine? Because this radiates that same level of self-awareness

Has Pompeo done anything outside of Grey’s? Acting, I mean. There must be some reason she hasn’t. Like nobody wants to work with her.

Amazing you would equate sexual assault with career politics. It’s disgusting that you would have so little regard for survivors of rape and abuse. That’s gross and also ethically wrong, but then women have been dealing with that ish since before the invention of motion pictures.

It’s not just Ford - all of the manufacturers are having more and more issues as cars get more and more complex each year. My Kia’s engine got a lifetime warranty due to a software bug that caused engine knocking to destroy the engine instead of go into limp mode. The complexity of newer sensor-laden software-heavy

I don’t understand show business. I mean, there’s lots to it I don’t understand about it. But one of the many things is being in an industry where you can call someone “motherfucker” and not (A) get fired (B) still able to “patch things up.” When I started my career, in a newsroom, I did on occasion get yelled at,

It sounds like American car buyers really like fixed prices, easily searchable inventory, cars that are reasonably inspected, and not haggling with a salesman.

The new recall is a software issue.

Right?  What the fuck was that; trying to fail intentionally?  Just cut it back and carry on, bro.

I said this as well. The driver doesn’t even try to stay on course. The 3 red cones that cause the first turn are supposed to be the moose so the driver did not hit the moose, but the other cones are supposed to represent a 2 lane road that you have to stay in control on. Just because he dipped 1 wheel onto the

I see the MachE side-swiped the “moose” during the test, but I’m curious if the vehicle would have sorted itself out if the driver had turned the wheel to continue on his original direction ‘straight’ down the road.

christ I hope this is a red herring and they did something much, much better. this looks bad cheesy. the running? all of faye’s posing? the animated bits like the tear? I really really hope this is just a tease or a concept or something because they still haven’t revealed who’s portraying Ed, but there are definitely

Counterpoint: this confirms a lot of our worst fears. Low production values that make it look like a glorified fan-film, and a lack of originality that begs the question “why adapt this if you’re not going to add anything new or interesting to it?”

My prediction: Fans will watch it, not like it. Non-fans will be like “WTF am I looking at?”

I just keep looking at how old john cho looks.

Netflix’s Live-Action Cowboy Bebop Intro Is Good”

It’s interesting but it’s not a good Cowboy Bebop intro. It looks like some low budget fan adaptation.

I’m not really feeling it. Part of me wants to like it but when it switches from the monochromatic faithful look to full color clip show mid way. It looks kind of cornball to me.

Bebop certainly had comedy but I don’t remember it looking so cornball outside of like Cowboy Andy or something.

I guess we’ll see how it

I mean not going to lie every live-action shot in that video looks cheap and out of place. It’s also extremely confusing to have be slapped on against characters and have no relation between the two.

oh man, this is going to be bad isn’t it?

So .. Faye’s into knives now I guess.

Ahem. Yoko Kanno is not a “he.”
