Oh hey she’s back. Good for her. Fiona was one of my favorites growing up even though I didn’t truly appreciate her until my later college years while my friends were busy gushing over Ani DiFranco.

My strategy has always been to do my homework and then offer 1k below invoice, and work from there. And I don’t pay doc fees. They say I have to, but somehow when the paperwork is signed I never do. I know I technically still am, but I hate when they try to front load that into the selling price like I am going to

Yup. Walked out the door three times before they finally came back with an offer that made sense on my last truck. I hate that it took two months for them to get where I was on day one, but whatever. Watching dealerships suffer in the meantime makes up for it.

F no. Anyone who buys a used high end vehicle like this is out of their minds. Even simple repairs are 3-4 times more expensive compared to domestic or asian imports of similar size.
There’s a reason everyone I know who drives a $60K or higher vehicle leases the thing and then ditches it for a new model every few

F yes, may the lord forever curse its name. I eventually learned the trick of getting at it from behind by pulling back the inner wheel well lining from a mechanic, which cut the time required by half, but GD. What designer in their right might came up with such a procedure and thought “this is fine”?

You actually believe that, don’t you?

Ugh these Twitter inserts are the absolute worst. They never play right.

Those tires would last maybe a block or two in my pothole-riddled town.

F’ing Mazda. First car I’ve ever had to remove the front bumper of just to replace a headlight.

Can’t say I’ve ever been to a wedding where the brides dressed in red, but maybe I just haven’t gone to the same ones Jason has.

So you’d recommend a bank that flaunts safety regulations and has shady employment practices just because they open the doors on time and give you a free pen with every visit?

Or these companies could just make every employee a part of the success if the games do well with profit sharing. Perhaps I am speaking for myself, but I know I’ve found the notion that the better whatever project I am working on does, the higher I will get paid at the end of the year to be damn motivating.

So make shitty games so your staff doesn’t have to work as hard? That’s uh, that’s a hell of a work ethic right there.

... isn’t this group made of Libertarians? Thought I read that in another news article.

Am I wrong, but 1) is this not the same behavior protesters used repeatedly during the last few election cycles, and 2) wouldn’t they be in violation of the “no large groups” order if they did get out of their cars to protest?
Don’t get me wrong, I see the irony here on both sides; yours and theirs, but I find it odd

Alaska also allows this, and they don’t charge for carryon’s even at their cheapest most restricted fare. I was a competitive cyclist up until two years ago, and traveling on Alaska versus the other guys was 25 bucks versus 100 bucks for my bike. Southwest, on the other hand, gave me a ration of shit for trying to

Is ‘77 the one where a guy was lowered by rope into the cockpit via the broken front windshield? Because that shit was ridiculous.

My mom would read the comments online for hours on end, relaying all of the negative ones to me.

Sounds like high school to me.

More surprised me because they were the Olsen twins.
