While the last 15 minutes of Walking Dead was pretty good, JB Smoove gave us a solid hour of hilarity on Talking Dead. Huge HUGE improvement over The Mindy Failure last week. How does this man not have his own talk show at this point?
Variety just broke the news 10 minutes ago and I'm doing fist pumps and squealing like a small child with a brand new juice box.
So after a failed pay cable adaptation, and a stalled movie, it looks like Garth Ennis's Preacher is coming to AMC. Comic Book Resources broke the news about an hour ago.
I don't think it's been mentioned here or on the main site yet, but I just found this bit of good news for John Noble fans. Just a warning: the linked article has some spoilerage at the bottom if you didn't see the season finale of Sleepy Hollow yet, so I'll paste the important part.
OH MY FREAKING GOD!!! THAT ENDING!! AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
How is it I'm only now discovering this? My inner 13 year old is screaming his tubby head off right now deep inside the cockles of my not yet jaded heart.
No offense to other sites in the Gawker ring, but if I wanted to read their stories, I'd visit THEM, not io9. It seems like half the articles posted on the main page, and even here in the ODeck lately, are just links from a different site like Kotaku, Jezebel etc. Am I the only one who finds this exceptionally…
And here it is, in all it's glory:
Anyone else less than excited or impressed by today's announcement? I was already bummed the moment it became clear they wouldn't be announcing a refresh for the MacBook line, seeing how I've been waiting since May to buy a new Retina model, thanks to said impending refresh, but I digress. An iPhone 5 in plastic…
Seriously, TNT, this is the best you can do? The E*Trade baby is laughing it's diaper off at you right now. You need to drop this alien baby nonsense and get back to the fighting, because it's quickly spiraling into ridiculous on it's way to annoying. Dead faced rubber babies /= intrigue. Capiche?
Just got out of the 7 o'clock show, and the theater was only a third full. As of an hour ago, it's predicted to make 66.2 million over the three day weekend/75 million cume since opening which is much less than it's predicted 100 million. Iron Man 3 debuted to 174 million, by comparison.
Saw this on my way home from work today, and decided it deserved to be shared as it's right up there with FE MAN, FE HIDE and AU BUG. It's not as cool as my personal favorite, PVNRT, but it's spiffy nonetheless, and I feel special for getting it as my girlfriend couldn't understand why someone would want "Peanut…
Past, Present, and Future... all in one tiny little box. Now that's clever.
I wasn't even aware this was a thing until I went to pre-order mine last week and couldn't find them anywhere for my local theater, despite the number of movies premiering a month later which I could order tickets for.
Aside from being just about the greatest giant robot show to ever grace the CN, how could a serious with moves like this ever be doubted by the powers that be?
I'm really not loving it. It looks like JJ tried to build a model of the Sovereign class Enterprise-E out of Legos. Put your thumb over the saucer section, and this thing is just fugly. The design language is all mixed up. Is it boxy? Is it organic? Why go all boxes and angles, yet put a weird wishbone bow to the…
Why?! Why do they do this to us?
