It’s the same thing. Whoever inputs the prices was typing too fast or too light and missed a few numbers. The customers who come running on those errors are the worst. Nothing will convince them that a dealer won’t sell them the car at that price and they never, ever call to verify.

This is false, especially when most sites have a statement addressing pricing typos and the like.

It happens all of the time; a $35k car gets accidentally listed for $3,500 and people will pour in and get big mad when they are told it wasn’t meant to be. I’ve been on the staff of a way smaller convention and the fuckery the staff can get into makes it a miracle half of these can get off the ground at all. Some of the staff take “volunteer” to mean, I’ll do my job IF and WHEN I feel like it and communication can be almost non-existent. All it takes are 1 or 2 assholes…
