DOA4 ws pretty good. Ninja Gaiden 2 wasn’t as good as 1 but I didn’t think it was awful.

At least that face will forever live on in the new art.

You can purchase new characters with in-game currency.

I never played it but immediately picked it up as it’s currently $1.99 on Steam.

Trails was nice but ended up not being my cup of tea, which is the case for most Falcom games I play. For best JRPG of the decade, and hopefully of the year when it comes out in December, my vote would be the Xenoblade series.

Him and Itabashi have to be the two best Zangief players in the world. I love watching Snake Eyez and seeing how incredibly patient he is in every match. My favorite match had to be him against Xian at Evo, that final match at 7:20 is still one of my favorite Evo moments.

I could be remembering incorrectly, it’s been a while since I’ve used the thing.

You could always wait until the match is over and then go into your game dvr and pull the last 15 minutes of footage, instead of doing it mid-match.

Quite a few games have opening messages like that, though not enough.

It limits the opponents options but it’s not cheating. The opponent may be looking for an opening to grab Liu Kang assuming he changes the timing of his attacks and doesn’t just “spam” them. He can also probably get out of the blockstring by using a move that spends his meter. It’s a good risk/reward scenario though

They should at least sell that analog stick as an accessory for the Elite controller.

They have since changed their policy and we’ll be seeing more crossplay titles with Windows 10. Killer Instinct for example will have crossplay when it launches on PC

That localization is on the same tier as 4kids!

You forgot to mention the final character announcement.

Well when you see the mission 51 that got cut you realize that it actually was missing a chapter.

I think they managed to make that work at least one time with Tales of Legendia, though I might think that because I wasn’t a fan of that particular Japanese opening.

Oh sure, Stormcaller and Sunbreaker absolutely destroy everything in Crucible but as soon as Nightstalker finds a good tactic people start calling it an exploit :P

Definitely some mixed messaging. They say buying games like these will help bring more DQ games and other RPGs to the West, but put restrictions on people advertising the game on Twitch.
