Not quite, that paragraph implies that PC players avoided PS4 players because they only wanted to play against other players with the patch (which is true to an extent), but really it was because the patch had a bug that made the netcode unplayable for Ps4 players, and that in turn caused PS4 players to avoid playing

Kinda missed the part where the Altimor patch, as great as it was, broke crossplay. Even if Capcom has no plans of fixing the netcode they would have blocked it because of their Intel Open tournament during the Olympics that necessitates Ps4 and Pc crossplay work which the patch prevented.

In keeping with the Ginyu force members being based off dairy puns, her name supposedly means breast milk.

MS said outright last year at E3 that they were working on next-gen hardware. Obviously if you’re a pc player then you don’t need it, but the console population has not diminished at all and as such a new console will definitely have its audience.

Outside of the fatal blow the other two he transformed into were Rain and Smoke

The ability to sell and share games amounts to more than ZERO reasons.

Messaging players to say GG after a good match or forming a group with strangers for Destiny PVE are some of the reasons I’ve used it.

“ That kind of limp stretching of the hand while refusing to look at the other person would have been seen as a sign of disrespect.” Agreed, the disrespect was intentional there even though they are both being playful about it. Despite this being esports with money on the line, none of the competitors are being overly

They are intentionally dramatizing the handshake, where normally the post-match handshake is meant to show respect these guys are intentionally doing things like not looking at each other to play up the rivalry. Also they are Japanese and are accustomed to bowing, so even when they do want to show respect with a

SFV had a severe lack of modes at launch but since then has received lots of single-player and multiplayer additions for free. You’ve only had to pay for new characters and cosmetics, which they now let you purchase with in-game currency.

This may not be true in every scenario but generally the larger the roster the less work required to implement each character. Something like SFV where the entire roster was redone from scratch had a small initial lineup whereas BlazBue CrossTag has a large lineup but most character moves and animations were copied

So we should go back to buying full-priced updates every year? I’m pretty sure last time fighting games required purchasing a new title update in order to get new characters the players requested the ability to buy the characters separately as DLC.

The downside to the Arcsys approach is that it makes adding costumes not feasible, so without being able to sell cosmetics I don’t expect to see other studios use that approach.

Both Warmind and Curse of Osiris dlc is required to play Forsaken, there’s a legendary edition for $60 that will include all previous content if you choose to hop back in.

I think the reasoning is to give players a reason to constantly want better gear. If you only care about PVE then there’s a lot of content at higher light levels to make you wanna grind, but taking power levels out of Iron Banner removed the one incentive for PVP players to grind.

Cooler and 17 should be the final characters released this year, though if Tekken was able to get a second season then I’m sure DBFZ will as well.

GTsport is nothing like Horizon, where Horizon is a largely single-player casual driving game and Sport is a largely multiplayer competitive racing game.

This movie is being written by Toriyama and thus will likely be considered canon.
