The gloss black trim is a tough one for me though for the window line, tail lights etc. Although I did see the Upland I believe the other day at the dealer and it looked pretty good.

God forbid we can have an option that just deletes the chrome and replaces with a body color trim on anything higher than a Laredo (sans summit bullshit package).
Other than the van, which they did a fantastic job on btw, theres literally nothing in the line up for Chrysler. Sergio had this great theory that he’d bring the Fiat and Alfa brands into the fold, build up the lux arm and continue from there. Only problem was, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge/ Ram is a mediocre if not awful…
Demuro recently did a review of the S3 and I was surprised it didnt come with power seats. After 20g I feel like they should be a no brainer.
When it comes to vehicles, is it a flat tax on the sale or is there a metric where its treated as an investment?
Ah missed that. Thanks!
Interesting post. But I’m curious, what exactly did you ask them? I always like that you guys have these looks into the massive retailers yet the narrative is typically steered.
right?!
I agree for sure. I meant more so that actual stalk that you use to signal. Its in a shitty position on that generation.
Beautiful design outside. Turn signal sucks on that model.
I hate that theres always a narrative. Why does his son need to be a part of this? I don’t like the man one bit, but if Obama did the same thing you’d be saying how cool or chill he is.
Im being a stickler here and I apologize. I truly appreciate that (most of the time) when Jalopnik writers edit their posts or update them, they make a note in the opening paragraph reflecting it. The same cannot be said for a majority of their sister/brother sites. Things like that is what brings me back here TBH.
Is there a correlations with EPA standards? One would think you need to keep on the sedans to balance out the suvs/ pickups no? Or is the lineup getting more efficient in general? WHAT DONT I KNOW!?
Pretty sad they cant make a margin on 3 platforms that have been out for a while. Maybe its time they work towards developing a platform they can utilize across their lineup? Similar to what VW is doing an many other brands?
Keureg machine!? What is this, two years ago??
How’s everything going with it? I’m in a ‘14 Grand Cherokee now and need get rid of it. Test drove one the other day and was crazy impressed.
Maybe it’s just the photo angles, but it seems too crossover-y. Will have to check it out in person but I highly doubt hot people will be buying these, let alone in white.
This and the sedan are still good looking vehicles. I feel like the helped Caddy usher in the new design phase but seeing them at the NYIAS next to the newer releases was rather surprising as they looked to have aged drastically when compared. I wonder when the next refresh is.
Based on the current lineup, it seems he Avalon allowed the Camry to become visually sportier and holds a decent footing for those who like the Lexus ride but cant bring themselves to buy a new one because the styling is “too much”. MEH indeed.
