How about a Mini variation? My neighbor has typically had a manual in her driveway. Went from an allroad to two suvs and now a manual Mini that she seems really excited about. Has three kids, one of which drives, but it seems like it works for them. I believe hers Is a countryman.

Must have missed it! Thanks pal!

Is there a Jalopnik writer/user vetted dashcam list? That could be a nice article. Given the gawkermedia (whats it called now?) trend of pushing lists of gear for some referral commission I see this as a home run.

Thoughts on Buick needing to update their emblem? I think the three shields would look way better without the circle around it. Like how Caddy got rid of the crown/branches.

So cool. There’s something inherently warming when it comes to finding a treasure. Regardless of where anyone on this earth comes from, and their beliefs, I think it’s a feeling that everyone can agree on. That said, fuck nazis.

So disagree all you want, and this is a reach, but the “hawk” park keeps me thinking that this will be more capable than the SRT. I wonder if we’re going to see a stronger engine go into the SRT a-la the hellcats and then something that walks the line of performance and capability in the track hawk, think an overland

Crazy how much a seat makes the car. I’ve had my grand cherokee for a little over 2 years and I still cant find a comfortable position.

The sport model looked pretty cool, as did the wagon. Prefer less chrome anyway.

What if the culprit is registered out of state? I’ve been under the impression that for some modifications, if the car isnt from “around here” technically its not kosher to hold them to standards their own state may not.

Im strangely interested in this. I currently have a Grand Cherokee and use it for odd jobs, shuttling clients around, tailgating for various events and long road trips. Something like this definitely catches my eye. Curious to see what the price points across the range of trims will be.

lol at six figures for the wagoneer. Not a chance im getting one of those only to get a caliber as a loaner car. They are going to have to really incentivise the dealer network to upgrade if upscale is going to be a reality.

I should have been more clear.. As i’m passing on the far left and they are passing on the far right.

The real question is, when it inevitably passes me on the right going 30+ miles over the speed limit (hell even the common speed) on the GSP will I simply shake my head and let out a sign or say to myself “they’re a douche, but that doesnt make it any less of a nice car”.

The Chargers at my college had these. Granted they weren’t undercover, I thought they made sense for highway use, not going 5 mph around a campus. What I hate is how bright these things are, its almost a hazard.

I bet Buick ends up being the GM moniker to go back into the van market to battle the pacifica. And you know what, I can see it working for them.

I think the update is a nice looking suv. The thing is, I always enjoyed how the LR3/4 Discovery was different from the newer updates. I’ll miss the current one, even if it’s a mid 2000's model when you strip it to its bones.

I’d put the first MY at a 5 in the jeep service spectrum.

I miss the retro logo sticker, that italicized logo that was in the dude’s sunglasses if i recall for some time. I was lucky enough to get one at the NYIAS party at CC Manhattan a while back. Some douche ripped it right off one day. Havent been the same since.

Dont know many people who have purchased an EV, otherwise I’d ask them. Does the rebate take money off the sticker at the point of sale or does the individual have to apply for it after? My gut says at the pos but figured i’d ask.

Thoughts on it becoming the “Pathfinder ______(insert something that infers off road capability)”? A lot of people balked at the newer gen Pathfinder becoming a CUV and with the Xterra gone they do have a void in the mid-sized dept. It will keep the Pathfinder lead-in like the crosstour and the solara did so it
