Love that the radio pictured on the “Cars Without Aux Jacks Or Cassettes (1950s-1980s, 1990s-2000s)“ was the nav system Ihad in my 2007 grand cherokee. No bluetooth radio, no cassette. but it could play mp3 Cds! 6 of em! It was like tech purgatory. Ended up installing an aux jack that fooled the system into thinking

Is it just me or did they take a perfectly good looking front end and completely ruin it for the sake of “update”?

Just because someone has nice things doesn't me we get to devalue the impact an unfortunate circumstance has on them. Pretty sure if any of us walked out one morning to find that our car was eaten by the street we'd share the same sentiment.

Volvo wagon? The outgoing models basically just have nave on the pop-up screen no?

Love to see these articles on older jeeps! Now David, could you please look into why the tailgate and doors on my WK2 don't line up properly?

Interesting about the segment. It’s like that old caddy mantra execs have been going on and on about shedding hasn’t really shaken in this model. Meanwhile they are trying to appeal to the youdths which I think the ATS did a decent job of attacking.

Does the car as a whole compensate for Caddy still not figuring out how to design the rears of their larger sedans? What do you see as this cars true competitors?

Mediocre functional design for an otherwise welcomed mechanical upgrade. FCA rushed this update and it shows. Lawsuit wont go anywhere but maybe the internal hurdles will be set a tad higher before shit gets pushed out the door.

Being a public university, couldn’t some of the fine money be earmarked for them? Id imagine there’d be less hurdles since its not a private university. Wishful thinking I guess, investing in the constituency.

Not a fan of a knob for a gear selector here. I would be interesting to see a column adaptation for the electronic transmission.

Drove past a Chevy lot today and was eyeing the new Camaro re-design. Between that earlier and now this article I can honesty say its the first time in a while i've just stated and said “wow” at two Chevy products within the same MY.

Wonder if my grandkids will see a jeep come off the line that has every body panel line up!?

Looks alone, I think Infiniti has made nice strides in terms of brand design. Ive always been partial to SUVs but if I were to make the jump away from them and not into a sedan the GLA and the QX30 would be at the top of the list. The Audi doesn’t really stand out from the rest of the line up. BMW x1 doesn’t do it for

Thank you for the info! Very cool, love the interiors of the wagonners up to 1985 I’ve had my heart set on an 84/85 and have come close to pulling the trigger a few times but life tends to come in the way.

He’s not their buddy, guy.

Safe to expect this to find its way into the next expedition? God they need to really crush the refresh if they want to get back into that game.

Surprise, surprise....I guess the doors got recalled.

Never trust someone with an energy drink sticker on their car.

Fascinating the lead time for the “fix” was likely just as long as the initial design. Though id imagine the newest reiteration is what was strived for and couldn’t be delivered in time and it finally made it to production much later.

This. The WK2 has/had so much riding on it. Sales figures have given them more capital and things were generally moving in a great direction. After the ‘14 refresh there was soo much tech thrown in one couldn’t help but wonder if it was planned out during the first gen ‘11-’13 or thrown in as competition grew. I’m
