Great article. Reminds me of when my friends father began to tell me that the belgian block speed humps he built in his gated community were rated at about 25 mph. At the time I had a 99 expedition, me and a few friend jumped in and proceeded to test his comment..15 over the first, 20 over the second, 25 over the

With all do respect, the officer just asked them to move to the side walk. Love/ hate police all you want, Marquez was making more of a deal than needed to be made.

This would be an interesting fit for my familys stable of above ground garages. Aside from already using solar we’ve been entertaining the idea of investing in chargers/ super chargers. This certainly may tip the scale in my favor when it comes to upgrades.

Its great that Jag finally has more of an entry-level offering. I was really excited when this came out as a would be production vehicle but was somewhat let down by its interior. Fit and finish its great but something just didnt feel right. Also the sight lines from the driverseat felt really off. I’ll have to test

Well said. Its quite odd really, you follow the lines from the front to the rear and it looks good, you get to the tail light and you see the the rear pillar (would it be C in this case?) flow down to almost take after the S class. Problem is the rear seems to have wrapped up to quickly...like parents came home early

When looking straight at it’s rear, well most of their current/next up models rear, It still seems like somethings off. They dont do the rest of the exterior design justice IMO.

If you’re in Bergen/ Passaic County then take Tapan Zee w/ ezpass.

Thats pretty fascinating to hear..Thanks for the response. I’d love to see a model S wagon thrown into the fleet. One can dream I guess. Granted its a business expense, I wonder how many points the gas charges racked in!

Andddd what did he get? My personal best in a suburban (previous gen was around 17 mpg)...wonder if (s)he slowed anyone down.

Eh, 90? Id say maybeee 50% if you look at the model line ups as a whole rather than each trim. Im pretty sure my moms acadia could climb this hill. Regardless, I completely agree. I cant fathom why my grand cherokee overland came with 20 inch wheels standard. Its absurd. The brands are playing into the big car game

Now playing

“Even numbers are for fun, exciting, sporty products...”

Yep. I believe thats the one from gas monkey garage. I fell in live with that freakshow the first time I saw the movie.

Its funny though, Growing up in the tri-state area I love to see well kept old big three pick ups when I stray away from the east coast. We all take that kinda stuff for granted.

Maybe the most thought out as of today. If you think about it, a lot of their new models implement them yet each model still has a uniqueness to them.

Very much into Porsche’s new tail lights. Saw them on the Macan in my buildings lot the other day and I very much approve.

Does it come with the removable roof or is that still out on the side of the road in the cali desert?

Reminds me of the time I read “Car guys & bean counters”, Bob Lutz went on about a sequoia or land cruiser owner who was high on their own pretentiousness talking about how shitty a GM suv’s gas mileage was. There will always be people like this. Unfortunately they’re the ones who show up to the polls.

Front is very Hyundai Genesisy, rear is very jag XF-ish. Frankly the side profile makes it look more like a Taurus. Its like 3 different people designed this car. For one, I find the current model rather good looking.

This past summer, a friend of mine and I moved him into his new place in ATL. Drove all the way down from the tristate area in his CRV. The ride was pretty un-invigorating but the trip itself was a time. The thing pretty much fit everything we needed. Got there, unpacked, hit ikea, BB&B and Best buy. Ran into an issue

Granted the sticker is rather high these days, Tahoe and suburban int he 90’s/ 00’s spanned the income brackets. I think their CUVs took that role over since being introduced.
