I looked at the picture first, well the wheel then the seats and went hmm..then i saw the nose and read the head line and went “oh, hmm”. If that doesnt say this vette is on a whole different level from its last 4 (at the least) predecessors I dont know what does.

Not so much a “TON” but I can see the first gen FRS/BRZ in stock condition becoming similarly hard to find as the eclipse, rx7 etc are now.

Well, this (points to self) 26 year old is now contemplating what he’s accomplished with his life thus far.

100% Agree. And I find it funny because when Brands have too many crossover/suvs I always scratch my head. Now I see the light. My mom had two RX400H’s (06 & 08 I think) and the reason my parents let it goes was only because Its cargo space was underwhelming. Granted this doesnt necessarily mean a 3rd row is necessary

I feel like saying theres “no direct successor” is kind of odd or rather silly. Like, we know new platforms are on their way and their positions in the line up will be replaced accordingly with the CT# moniker to rival the various “basic 3” that most luxury brands have come to rely on.

It was a foolish deign flaw that should have been caught when the vehicles were crash tested and Jeep should pay the price deemed worthy. However, for the lawyer to say that the jeep redesigned in 2005 “ was done quietly to fix a defect Chrysler was aware of but never acknowledged publicly” seems quite silly.

This front angle looks WAY less appealing than in the original article.

Chevy clearly now cares and thats all that matters. I see this part of their line up similar to the ES/GS relationship at Lexus. I’d never consider buying one of these but good for them.

Agreed. It reminds me of Ford a few years ago as it began to introduce the open mouth grille while also having a split one on the cmax and fiesta. Your eyes kind of commit to one of the openings and then when you skim up or down to the other your’re kind of thrown aback for a moment.

The front end is growing on me as I continue to look at it. I’ve never been a big fan of split grilles, especially in this case where the lines are goign in different angles. I hate these types of fog lights though. Never made sense to me. Its an interesting update though and Im glad it segments itself from the impala.

It would have been interesting to have one of the special editions have a similar hood to the original. I’ve seen a bunch with the chrome-dome hubs. Could have made for a cool retro edition.

Scion is still the brand for teens+ right? In that case they are doing a PERFECT job of rebelling against the norm of making said lineup look identical.

If it were a Vibe instead of a Matrix then what would the prius parents say?

Its like a Prius and a Matrix hooked up. Even though theyre second cousins and its technically frowned upon.

Maybe it helps expedite the crash test process? As in by keeping platforms as similar as possible where as its all but a guarantee the thing passes...now lets just work on esthetics?

Nice looking car. But is it just me or is something missing or off? I feel like the rear of these new caddy sedans dont do the front justice. I expected the interior to look more profound as well.

Bottom update looks kia-ey. Not terrible though. Id imagine that new headlight will be a pain to replace now that its one unit and not two. It would be interesting to see an insurance appraiser design a car.

So the tax is over the life of the asset in your possession?

Wow, thats pretty interesting nonetheless. Thanks for the info!

Call me young and naive but sales tax for a car after the original purchase is such a sham. In theory it'd be nice to see the sales % cut in half since you have two parties that are declaring the transaction. Though, in NJ id have no problem paying the full tax if they finds were earmarked for road improvements. The
