Well, I was considering a Chevy Colorado. That just stopped being an option.
The grand cherokee doesn't need a lift kit, but it would be cool if they sold an electronic interlock that forces the air suspension to no drop out of "off road 1" so you can fit bigger tires. As for the Cherokee, its a little sad. The Renegade can be lifted pretty easily. Also, the Grand Cherokee isn't a Fiat…

I completely agree that this whole recall is malarkey. My TJ has a gas tank rear of the axle and isn’t being recalled. I guess it has to do with the lack of a ladder frame on the ZJ/WJ/KJ that makes them more susceptible according to the NHTSA
And why is this only for ZJs and WJs? What about every other vehicle with a gas tank in that location made since the dawn of time? The whole things is pretty crazy if you ask me.

Trust me. Try going from a car with parking sensors you drove every day for two years to one without. It's very hard!
