Watching the Lemons race from France right now. Looks like there are a whole lot of People's Choice cars there. Most all of the cars look like they are worth more than $500, although although the teams have cool matching costumes.

I've seen #12 used a few times (in England I think). Tend to be used at construction sites where only 1 lane of a 2 lane road is open (there is a pair of them and they in effect serve as flagmen).

@stoke: The only problem with the 5 Series Touring is that you can never find a used one with a 6 Speed (ended up having to buy a sedan).
