Looks like the Segway just... Bolted.

Yeah, I mean: the character designs are ridiculous but I also kinda love them. Like, the view of your character in Gears of War is probably one of my favorite playable character silhouettes in games.

I kinda don’t see how the women are treated like shit in Gears. They’re largely on a level-pegging, actually: given the same equipment, the same chance to fight for humanity as the guys, they get chainsawed in half like the guys, and they deal out plenty of banter. In fact, Gears 3 in particular is pretty progressive

All around me are...

When I see art like this I’m reminded of this again,

You can basically hear that shot, zzzap!

Do they do requests?

Good for them. Someone send me a quark when they beat another boss. What’s a quark you say? It’s the form of communication I speculate we’ll be using by the time they reach the Taurus demon.

Aside from some sharper textures it looks better on the WiiU.

So true, I totally forgot you can get a speeding ticket XD [I remembered that there’s a speed limit, red lights and everything but I forgot that police pulls you over and actually gives you a ticket]. Also simple mobster routine missions at the beginning were my favourite.

I was a big fan of the first Mafia, on PC. It was a game that wasn’t afraid to be obnoxiously realistic or authentic, police pulled you over for speeding, so driving across town meant you would be driving for 30+ minutes, the guns would recoil your crosshair up the screen, the vehicles handles like vehicles with 90

If a gang was attempting to take over another gang’s territory, it was more likely one or two key individuals would get murdered or simply ordered to leave town or else than have the entire gang killed. Keep in mind the Mafia operated in the United States quietly for decades; you don’t do that by gunning down every

The small gameplay samples at Gamescom instantly turned me off to this game. The second I saw a car blow up from getting t-boned was it. The animations and the over the top effects make it look like Saints Row, a game that I cannot whole heatedly take serious for an instant.

The game also is *not* a “true” mafia game.

The actual act of taking over enemy gang territory usually involves far more intimidation and buying off people than shooting at their face (although judicious application of shooting at faces is often crucial).

oh man, I’m such a noob that I didn’t even know there was such thing as a bullet hit. :/

Yeah, but if I go to the gym then I have to deal with the sort of people who go to gyms.

Especially air-popped popcorn. I use a little butter-flavored spray and then some salt and other seasoning. Pity my table-top group doesn’t like popcorn.

Very true, I have been slaying a bunch of my friends who never played it before :’)
