Oh fuck, I forgot the reveal was tonight.
“...offering only gloss-black mirror caps instead of matching them with the car’s paint color.”
No limited slip no care. I know Toyota knows how to do them (they did for the Sienna that lapped Willow a couple years back), and with 301 bhp on tap, both the Avalon and Camry need all the help they can get.
If I were the driver of a Buick Encore I’d be deeply ashamed. Now, what’s this about suspicious lease offers?
When the refresh was unveiled, I had said that the black bar and bow tie mounted on same looked stupid as fuck, and that making the bar body color and moving the bow tie to the upper grille where it belongs would look worlds better. The SEMA car proved I was right, so I’m happy to hear this news; hopefully GM offers…
I...wat?
Not a surprise. Not enough ROI to justify homologating it for the US market, plus most 3-series buyers lease them or trade them in after 2 years anyway.
But the Lancer name hasn’t been good in years.
So is America not getting the ‘regular’ 4G Focus outside of the Active? Because if so, that fucking sucks. I have no need nor desire for a Focus that’s trying to be a Subaru Outback.
Unfortunate, and I’m not even a Honda guy.
If I owned a Mitsubishi product I’d be deeply ashamed. Now, what’s this about a recall?
Gloriously stupid, or stupidly glorious.
“Our pal Bozi points out that the engine appears similar to GM’s 3.6-liter turbo V6 LGW engine, at least as far as the arrangement of the turbochargers is concerned. Bozi also notes that the heads appear to have the exhaust manifolds cast into them, and that the arrangement of the serpentine belt is quite similar.”
About time. Wonder how they’ll deal with the inevitable torque steer.
Sounds like the work of an enemy Stand to me.
Liftback. This car is a liftback.
I believe that’s what it’s from, yeah. Never played it myself, but it was a minor meme on 4chan back in the day.
The Accord Coupe has been irrelevant for years. The mid-size FWD coupe segment was never all that important to begin with, and when the pony cars started becoming decent all-arounders, the segment’s fate was sealed. Furthermore, Honda themselves basically admitted that it was irrelevant by not separating it from the…
Noted. I drove one (a G8 GT) for work yesterday and didn’t notice anything odd about the trans behavior, but I wasn’t pushing it very hard (customer car, after all).
