Will Ferrell his boisterous idiot shtick sometimes works amazing ly (Talladega Nights, Anchorman, Blades of Glory). Sometimes it is kind of amusing (Starsky & Hutch, Zoolander) and sometimes very awkwardly and painful to watch (Semi-Pro, Step Brothers, Get Hard).

I enjoyed him a lot in the Other Guys. Kind of because

I love that movie so god damn much.

Yeah, I doubt people will recognize them, I certainly won’t, but it might help the movie feel more authentic. Besides, it can only help these guys careers, as like you said, no one likely knows who they are, but might after they showed up in a movie.

If you don’t chew Big Red, then fuck you.

It’s clearly parody, but every game developer I’ve ever worked with has cited Grandma’s Boy as being the most accurate movie about game-dev, not factually, but how it FEELS.

John C. Reilly earned himself many, many passes in my mind for his part in Wreck-It Ralph--which, if I’m being honest, was one of the few films to get the feel of arcades right.

...he used up most of those passes doing Check It Out!: With Dr. Steve Brule, but again, that’s just personal opinion/preference. I hate

Oh, I might be at wrong here. Might have reacted to the wrong person, but I was reacting to someone saying a woman dumped in a group of three guys wouldn’t change things. Because... Seriously. That’s like your girlfriend asking to hang out one night, saying: see, it’s so much fun, this doesn’t ruin the dynamic at all.

haha yes! with phoenix downs 1000 gill a pop, no way to know which items are needed for crafting and which can be sold, hunts are the way for me to make my money. Just wish you could have more then 1 at a time.

:D

The game designers can create whatever dynamic they want, and making them weak, timid, in-need-of-protection isn’t mandatory. I think this is more of a lack of imagination (or an unwillingness to break from traditional storytelling tropes) than something unavoidable.

There is a lovey dovely relationship: it’s between Noctis, Prompto, Gladius and Ignis. That’s all the love it needed haha!

Are you joking? Go to LA, and tell all the girls their in bikinis, around town, board walk, beaches, that their tits are hanging out for no reason, and that whoever forced them to wear it is sexist. Seriously, they will laugh you. It’s cute, attractive, great for warm weather. The only thing sexist here is folks like

She has on as much clothing as many girls wear on a daily basis. And let me ask you, if you saw a well-endowed girl in a bikini walk into your local food joint, would you stare? If a hulking man with massive muscles walked in with no shirt on, would you stare? The answer to both questions is “Yes”. The reasons why are

Jason. This review is phenomenal. One of the best things Kotaku has ever done. *slow clap*

At a certain point in reading this I stopped considering whether I’m putting down money and just got engrossed in a moving and emotionally vivid review. That was great.

You mean like the Tigrex Tank in Monster Hunter X?

I mean, it IS technically a weapon

Symm is my second most played behind Rein so I’m all for this.
