There's a difference between just stopping it and doing things the right way. If an institution was rife to the point where nobody thought forced sodomy was wrong for years and years, do you think just telling them to stop is sufficient? I think there are deeper rooted issues that need addressing before this program

Football is simply an extracurricular activity, not a requirement to graduate. This hazing apparently was rather institutionalized within the program so simply putting it on a one year hiatus probably won't change much. I do feel bad for the freshman and sophomores but the program was the problem so it needs to go

Why did you mention NJ as a 'legitimate place"? WTF does that even mean? Does that mean the other places this has taken place aren't legitimate?

Why do you care?

You're not of a particularly high IQ are you?

Start eating a big bag of dicks.

Thank you for your brilliant analysis and wonderful contribution to the discussion.

Maybe because MLS survived precisely because it didn't model itself on Europe. Maybe because leagues are organized differently here than in Europe. Maybe because the current system is working like gangbusters, and has produced the best 20 year stretch in American soccer history. Maybe because the US doesn't have an

Right? how is this not at the least a N/C?

Wait, you can win by an illegal blow? What the fuck?

That seems like a pretty ridiculous loophole in the rules. Why not just kick your opponent in the nuts? Shit, just hit him with a 2-by-4, and when he can't get up, you win by TKO!

You made your point, I just don't think anyone thinks it's correct. You attempted to stratify bad things based on your own opinions, and people have different opinions. Both your example, and this example, are bad things, but nobody else feels they're in a position to call one less-bad than the other.

This is one of those times when someone creepily reveals how creepy his own worldview is.

This is about as horrific and inhumane as it gets without people dying. Unless those adjectives should only be reserved for deaths, it applies here.

Seriously, bruh?

The story is about sexual abuse and you are nitpicking about a fucking synonym? Really?

It's not a zero-sum game. What Boko Haram is doing can be called inhumane, as can sexual assault. The ugliness of one doesn't make the other more attractive.

Please tell me that you aren't serious? If I forced & pinned you on the ground & shoved my fingers into your @sshole, I'd bet you say it was pretty fu@king horrific & inhumane. Do NOT minimize what these students went through, just because you don't 'feel' what happened to them was "horrific" and "inhumane".

Having a bar of soap stuck up your ass and then being forced to lick said bar of soap, counts as "horrific" and "inhumane" in my book

So in Colorado sexual assault results in a stern talking to, while in NJ they actually treat it as the crime that it is.
