I thought poise was exclusively interrupt when your character was in the middle of attack animations. In my experience poise almost seems more weapon-centric in DS3. This is from feelings only, but Vordt’s Great Hammer and ultra greatswords have a great deal - short swords, not so much.

Well “some people” sound very “high maintenance.” As both a professional photographer and wedding attendee, if you can’t get the photos you want in a five hour window, they’re not gonna happen. And then you have a tired, disgruntled photographer who’s not gonna do their best.
