Richard, rotoscoping IS hand-drawn animation, it’s just using the video footage as a template. Despite a few assists to help reduce the number of frames that need to be drawn for each shape, it is almost as tedious and time-consuming as 100% illustrated work. People seem to believe there’s some kind of magic plugin…

Public Service Announcement: don’t back video game kickstarters. Especially if you don’t have a lot of money to spare. I’m sorry. But the fact is a lot of games have abused the system or just plain failed to deliver. Hand over your hard earned cash for a finished product. Or at least a product the exists.

Some more advice: If you see a video game Kickstarter asking for, oh, say, money, you probably shouldn’t back it.
