See this is a great idea because people that don't know about the car and break in to try and steal your fuel or what is in your trunk they are confused. This is more of deterrent to thieves and because soft tops are easy to rip in to.

Do people really refuel on the sides of the road that often? I'd prefer the convenience of not having to walk around the car to refuel every few days to the "safety" aspect that I've used, oh, never.

Definitely wipers and lights. Probably the two biggest things you're going to need while driving (besides heat/cooling) and they never seem to be in the same place or work the same way.

The horn button. A lot of cars pre-2000 (looking at you Honda) had horn buttons on the steering wheel spokes. Most are now in the center hub with the buttons either located at the bottom corners, top corners, or smack dab in the center. You would think that in an emergency situation you want to know exactly where

Same for the wipers control:

In my world, bench seats are for the back.

"manual shift" on automatic transmission. It is towards you for up shift and away from you for downshift. How hard is that???

At least there are other ways to open trunks, though.

The emergency/parking brake. When I was using rentals, I had to look around for them always.

Shovel NAH that is a UBER MANLY E-tool.

The Mazda 3. Because you aren't the greatest driver, but hey, if you want to drop a gear and give it the beans, I will smile with you all the way. If you don't, I'll just be here being practical.

I think it was an awesome event. The crash was unfortunate... But it can happen even on a rolling start

Nope, I fully intend to Mrs. Basil E Frankweiler the shit out of that city for as long as possible.

That's great for those two, but little DSG and CVT are going to get teased to no end...

And that's the price of moderately sized condo or a small townhome in northern Va.

I'm sure if you don't have children..

The fact that all my life choices have resulted in me NEVER have to worry if a car is fit for a child fills me with joy.
