I get that it can feel bloated compared to the same segment from the original game, but without it, this entry would NOT have felt like a full game

That’s how I feel about the original Star Wars trilogy in the wake of the most recent Star Wars trilogy.

For me the game feels entirely made for creators, and since I’m not particularly creative that turns me off a lot. It somehow feels like I’d be missing out by buying it to “only” play others’ creations. I suspect there’s a lot of people who feel this way even if it’s not really true at all.

The problem is marketing, both in the fact that Dreams itself is marketed as a creation tool, so most of the people using it are creators, as well as the lack of any means of advertising the playable experiences outside of the application itself. What this means is that the sort of people who might be interested in

I am getting Wingspan too. Scythe... I played it once (the board game) and... there wasn’t much to do. My turn came, I placed two peasants, or bought a mech and then I waited what felt like a year for everyone else to play. Maybe I didn't get the game, but it wasn't enjoyable at all. Playing online, at the time, with

Trust, the Corpo character makes less sense the farther you go in to the game. Instead, and I would argue this pretty hard, it feels like they wrote the game for the Street character, for whom a lot of the stuff in the game makes sense.

Now playing

Honestly, it sounds interesting enough to play.
I’ll probably pick it up in a few months once they iron out all the kinks and probably add some more story DLC. (I also have some other games in my backlog so I’m in no hurry)

Don’t pre-order games kids. (no matter how much you “trust” the company who makes them)

I appreciated Transistor’s story by the time I was through it, but for much of it it felt a bit too cliche-cyberpunk-rebellion for me. Bastion’s and Pyre’s stories were much more compelling to me. Plus Logan Cunningham’s narration was spectacular in Bastion but a little less compelling in Transistor.

That’s actually not as hot a take as you think. Transistor feels like the weakest game they’ve done so far (it’s still good though, don’t get me wrong). It’s the only Supergiant game I struggle with the desire to continue playing. Its plot is also a bit more confusing than the other games.

Lack of older games was what kind of turned me off from Playstation Now. Seemed like their library should be a lot bigger. Sucks that even the larger Game Pass is lacking in certain areas. But maybe someday...

Coming from Hades, Bastion would have smoother gameplay transition. As both are straight action.

Yes, check them all out! Bastion might be my favorite game of the 2010s, I totally get why some people feel that way about Transistor, and Pyre has some of the most interesting storytelling this side of Outer Wilds and Disco Elysium. It’s been so lovely to see Supergiant have an absolute megahit — like watching the

I would play Bastion before Transistor

Now this guy knew how to promote a book!

all I gotta say is i miss those old signs that Picaddilly and Times Square used to have (same with Vegas). although the HD of those screens we have today are very good, there’s just no character to them like the neon signs of old.

I have been on and around escalators my entire life, but man are those Metro ones looooong, and by association, steep...

I’ve been around this place for some time now. I’ve been the fulltime weekend editor since Feb 2019, but before that I’ve been writing about GTA Online(and other stuff) for Kotaku as a freelancer since... (looks it up) AUG 2016.

I really wish Jason didn’t write behind a Paywall. I miss his stuff so much.

Ok, the important question though, who were Tom and Jerry and is there any link to the cartoon cat and mouse? This drink definitely predates the cartoon by quite a bit, but it’s possible there’s a link.
