I’m playing through as Prisoner with Dex/Int and I’m definitely focusing more on dodging, distance and summons. Shields just get in the way of my casting. it works until it doesn’t; fights in close quarters (like the two mad Pumpkin Heads under the fire ruins) have proven especially challenging.

This was filmed up the street from me in Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood. We were all pretty unsure about what this was... and even when we found out, the plot sounded hilariously fake enough (“the Evil house that makes him time travel to kill girls!”) that I assumed it was a misdirect.

I mean, they should.  A social media detox would do most people wonders (even if it was just partial) and every pair of eyes that’s not looking at the site takes away from the value of Musk’s purchase and hurts him (a tiny, tiny bit).  They won’t, though, and I don’t even pretend to understand why.  Hell; I don’t even

It’s not that hard to leave. Humans existed without social media for at least a decade or two. I deleted my account basically right when this happened. If you’re on a free platform like this, you’re basically being sold as a product to advertisers, etc. I choose not to be sold in Papa Elon’s Wacky Psychological

I’ll miss Jorts the cat when I leave.  But I’m not giving a Musk-driven Twitter any more of my eyeballs than I have to.

He just wants everyone to be required to call him “The Dogefather” or whatever that shit was.

I loved Hades. I played it almost 200 hours, and I’m the sort of person who will almost always stop playing a game when there is no more story content.

I’ve given up on the Xenoblade series ever being anything other than the trash that it is. The battle systems look strategic, but are always chaotic disasters (though Torna gives me a little bit of hope). The characters are vessels for quirky accents. The plots work better as wikipedia entries than as games. And do

In fact, I am the film and I sound just like this.

That Switch port of 13 Sentinels really seems to have slipped under the radar.  I feel like I forgot that it was coming for a while, myself.  It seems like a natural fit for the Switch, though, so I’ll probably snag it first time it goes on sale.  I’m too busy wading through Elden Ring and Metroid Dread to entertain

I started this game 3 times on my old Vita and each time, it was miserable. I don’t think I even got to any of the confusing plot beats. It was miserable and it felt slow and every time I hit an enemy, I just felt a sense of my time being stolen from me (and fwiw, I’m usually down with menu-based combat). The battle

Was the release date really a year ago or did you mean to write 2022?

Kotaku readers: “Too many Elden Ring articles! Can’t someone do something about it?”

...or put a transcript under the video. Getting real fed up with the number of videos around this site.

counterpoint: they don’t start autoplaying whatever garbage you’re hovering your cursor over.

Prefer Hulu. For a third of the price, you get a bigger, more proven library.  Netflix’s oldest movie is like 1999 or something (the date is tongue in cheek but the principle stands).

Truth.  I’m starting to get to the point where I hope it never sees the light of day and they just move onto the next console gen.

They just put announced 50 new MK tracks over the next 2 years. No way a new game is coming in the foreseeable future.

There’d be some great memes out of that.

It would be stupid to have this come out the same year as Xenoblade 3 anyway.  Also, given how little we’ve seen of this game, I don’t really have any raised hopes to be dashed.  It doesn’t look bad; it just looks kind of blank so far.
