Cool! hope Sony will consider putting out more of their new releases on the PS4.

Wildly irresponsible of her to donate that. I’ve heard of cases where stores (including WFM) will pour bleach on this stuff.
Won’t lie... I’m disappointed, but it’s not like I don’t have a huge backlog anyway. But now I really wish I’d bought Wargroove back when it was on sale to scratch that Tactics itch.
I went to read it, to see if it was any different than the blurb in the DVD packaging (it wasn’t substantially). I know *why* it happened, but having watched about 1/3 of the DVD before I gave up, I do think the loss of those rights had a material impact on re-watching the show. I kept my VHS copy of “Skits and…
I loved Mr. Fox, too. It’s easily in my top 3 of his films. But I’m also a huge fan of all things Pulp, so Jarvis’s songs really added to the film for me. The fact that he’s doing the soundtrack for French Dispatch, too, is pretty helpful (though I’m not as excited about covers as I would be about originals)
...or watch something else, maybe? Or read a book? If a piece of entertainment is enough to make you question taking a slightly difficult principled stand, how devoted are you to said principle?
This is a dumb idea because I would give in to every single mischievous whim I have and boot players for anything. Don’t like way you sound? gone! You played with a character I hate? Gone. Your name has double letters? Double gone!
Also, at a time when Netflix is bending over backwards to get rid of any real film history, it’s kind of nice to reclaim that. Seriously, I would buy cheap used DVDs for anyone who wants them.
Environment? how much energy do you think Netflix’s servers are using 24/7? I think I’ve read that streaming is actually worse (on net) than DVD’s, etc... unless, of course, you’re buying zillions.
To badly misquote Red from “That ‘70s Show”, “if you aren’t mad enough to unsubscribe, you aren’t actually mad.”
Waaaaay ahead of you.... i haven’t paid for Netflix in years. This is just icing on the cake. They are demons with monopolistic ambitions of owning Art and ensuring that things are created solely by research-led algorithms purely for profit. The current “Squid Game”-driven honeymoon obscures that the vast majority of…
exactly. What you’re describing isn’t service, it’s paid friendship/flirting/whatever. See the studies about how men will tip more if their waitresses touch them on the shoulder, regardless of service quality.
Wow, this is the worst idea ever. I loathe tipping and it’s a cancer on America. I tip well, but i absolutely despise it. I’m trying to divert my business to restaurants that charge more for service included... and dine out less in general, but that’s another day’s rant (American restaurants are owned by sentient pond …
Only thing on that list that really compels me is Sin and Punishment. To tell the truth, though, I’d rather buy a digital version or remake (even if it was, say, $100 for some reason) than support this service. Hell, I’d take the Wii sequel over paying for this.
Exploration is metroid’s whole thing, I’d say.
yeah, i took that as a compliment. That sounds like the game I’ve wanted from the series for a while now.
bravo!
I don’t often 100% agree with opinion pieces on this site anymore, but this is spot on. You can have the pricey brand that focuses on the big high end games or you can try to draw everyone in, but you can’t expect that you’ll be able to do both without compromising on one. Narrow the scope of your development, you…
Only Metroid music that stands out to me is the item-getting music (which I guess is also the beam-down music). Other than that, I’m with you...
To me, complaining about the mood in a Metroid game feels disliking a steakhouse because they cook the broccoli wrong. And we are now on a 3 game streak of side-scrolling Metroids that are narratively janky, so if I could finish Fusion, I’m pretty sure I can deal with this. So far, I’m not seeing anything that doesn’t…
