3 billion pounds? That's a lot of feathers.

I think TV is the perfect medium for Powers to play out in. Hopefully FX can bring it to light & doesn't get lost in the sea of police procedurals that we drown in every season (or the sea of metaphysical police procedurals that appear to be coming down the pipe).
Powers could be good, but I think Kyle Chandler would have to put on some serious weight to play Walker, but maybe that's just the fanboy in me coming out.
Sounds a lot like Evil Dead: The Musical with the "splash zone," cult status, people knowing the lines and such.
I saw the preview for Conan yesterday before The Lincoln Lawyer and, while it didn't show much, all I could think was, "Sacrilege!" The original is still one of my favorite movies of all time and I just get the impression that the remake/reboot is just going to crap all over my love of it like Clash of the Titans did.
@Krakenstein2: Perhaps, but we (and Josh) didn't find out the guy was his creator until the END of the ep, so what would have been the reasoning before we found that out? And how would his creator know that? Do you see what I mean? It's just not consistent.
@Krakenstein2: That leads me back to my original point - if it's in werewolf nature to be aggressive to everything (even their own "kin") why would Josh bond with another werewolf (the one who ended up being his sire) and plan to change with him so that they could run around the forest being wolves together?
@Krakenstein2: How would they retain that knowledge when in wolf-form? If they could keep knowledge in that form, wouldn't they be able to have a half-way "normal" life. It seems that the thought process to understand "if I don't kill this guy, then I will be killed by all these people that I recognize as a…
The problem I had with last night's episode was werewolf motivation. Why would they fight at all? Not three eps ago Josh was pal-ing around with another werewolf (who turned out to be his maker) and they were talking about changing together. So for what reason would the two in the cage have to fight until death? It…
I find every one of the actors listed to be far too old. Maybe I'm wrong (since I only saw the anime and did not read the manga), but I always felt that the two main characters were teenagers.
OK, apparently the only way to get ALL of S4 is to buy the Blu-Ray. Does anybody know if the complete S4 will be released on regular DVD?
Does anybody know if they will be releasing a complete Season 4 collection? I really hate the Season ? Part 1, Season ? Part 2 crap (I'm looking at you BSG).
E! News also stated that Joseph Gordon-Levitt had been cast as "The Holiday Killer." I'm not exactly sure where that falls on the "official" scale but, as I was only half listening, it may have been cited from EW or Variety.
I'm pretty sure it will air on BBC America at some point this year. It's listed as "coming soon" on the website.
Typo: Dark Knight Rises - conformation confirmation.
Powers is definitely not a comedy.
Did any one notice that in Peter's bedroom in the "other" universe, The Dark Knight Returns was a story about Superman? The cover had the same silhouette but with a red cape.
I haven't caught up to this season of SPN yet, but the title of the next episode makes me chuckle every time I read it.
Our new Gov is trying to fix our budget shortfall by doing away with a lot of things. Apparently, he thinks that zero outside money coming in is better than some outside money coming in. I fail to see the logic in this. Perhaps he is assuming that even though they won't get any tax breaks that production companies…
I would heart you for that comment if I could.
