I have a similar version, and I actually got it for 600. I would recommend adding RAM but its a great little machine and for the purposes of an ultrabook, a better overall value. I just use my Macbook Pro for something that needs more HP.

I have the z835, but not the model you tested above. I have the one from the MS store. Weight wise its an ultrabook, at only 3.3 pounds and using an i5 next gen intel chip. So its not as weak as the one above.
