For many years Enterprise was our corporate rental company. Then in 2019 we switched to Hertz. It lasted 1 year. We are now with AVIS or Enterprise.

Actually there are tons of regulations for that. The problem is that trucks and SUVs are in a different category and do not have to meet said regulations.

Not everybody in San Diego is doing it. But there are thousands and thousands of people who cross the border daily or weekly for other things other than chap gas; go see family, party, get cheap meds, go to the doctor, etc. So, while you are there, you might as well fill up.

As a LB resident, I can tell you. LB is kind of spotty, drive one block the wrong direction and you are in a crap neighborhood, one block the opposite direction, and it can be fancy.

You may overestimate how secure soda cans are in the back of a truck. I remember being hit by a can that flew off the back of a pickup truck and broke my grille, on the way home after picking my new car from the dealership.

There used to be many cheaper alternatives to MB, and still people did not buy enough of them.

I we could just make people understand the benefits of paying taxes vs. I know better what to do with my money.
