A fee years ago I went to visit a friend in Mexico City. A few hours after we watched a F1 race on TV, the same channel replayed the race but with no commentary. Mostly the same feed with more team radio and more on board shots.

While not an IT manager, I have ample experience on Building Management Systems. I have never had a client whose billing system is integrated with the HVAC system, lighting control, parking control, parking revenue, elevators, etc. That would be just dumb and a lot of work.
