In September I bought a 2004 330i in Connecticut and brought it back to Canada. At that point the Canadian dollar was at 95 cents US, and I still saved $5000. With $1.10 dollars, my savings would be almost $8000.

My best friend in high-school had a Newport of this vintage (with the 440), and it was awesome. Four-abreast seating, front and rear, and a trunk capable of holding a weekend's worth of beer for all 8 passengers. The backseat was the size of a queen size bed, and fantastic for after-school activities.

@PDQ: My understanding is that all North American market 115.01's were sold with similar bumpers. As I noted, the 1972 model has a slightly different rear bumper with the license plate light affixed to the top but the overrider setup is identical.
