I could swear that the first pic was Schober's Bowl at Panorama. At least that how i remember it. I'm going through skiing withdrawal right now.

(Puts on flame-suit)
TBH, i think a lot of these "awesome cars from the past" ride a wave of rampant nostalgia.
That being said, older cars kick ass. At least they kept many of the design cues that made the California so recognizable, and it's still a FR roadster.

You van also go the other way. The Celica line diverged into the Celica and the Supra around the mid 80's after the Celica Supra trim received its own line. Then we can see improvement.

I've never really understood the hate for the New-gen California? It doesn't look that bad

I almost bought a green bug/jeep/flatbed conversion, but opted out atthe last minute because it didnt have a roof and I wasnt up for making one.

Until they grow, cam I suggest archer's stakes? Or maybe Mel Gibson with a pike?

At the end you can hear the main guy say "Idiot," then his buddy just agrees, "Da, idyot."

"I joined a car cult and all I got was this lame t-shirt"?

Since when are we a crazed cult? And why haven't I gotten my standard issue hooded robe and sacrificial wrench?

Now playing

I personally like the later L28, both in 2.8 and race 3.1 stroked versions

It sounds so angry! Why is it so angry??

Forza does have consumable fuel, but it takes a long time to get through it. Tires are the same story. I could drive the Nurburgring for 3 hours in order to tune a car, and only go through half a tank.

Oook. Fair enough, my bad.

Someone must've used a blue shell

A4s and allroads are not the same car. A4 is an A4, while, depending on the year of car driven, the allroad was based off of the A6. Different suspension set ups as well. Nevertheless, I'm not worried about the extra clearance, since I happen to be good friends with Mr. Coilover Suspension, who lowered and stiffened

It's all about how much weight you have in the back. I used to take my parents van out on snowy nights to...uh...research the effects of new fluff on traction. It was Scandi flicks all day.

yeah you can get them for cheap, but then they're hardly driveable, and require extensive bodywork. That is, unless you live in the American South-West. Darn non-rusting climate.

My dad and I are planning on buying one in Poland in the near future, so that when we visit we have something to run around in.

I can't believe they got rid of the 740iL from the franchise. If there's ever a car that screams class, in movies and the real world, its that one.
