They didn't hack into the CIA, they managed to shut down their cosmetic public information website, which yes, can be accomplished by enough computers using the DDoSing software called Low Orbit Ion Cannon. They didn't steal anything from the CIA website, because the intranet that houses that kind of data…

They aren't though. They use attacks that simply require many computers used in concert, something anyone can do, or at most an SQL injection which is an exploit someone with elementary skills can troll some websites for. They really are not wunderkinds.
